Rest, however, does not come.On Mount Paozu, a few days after he turned one year old, little Gohan gasps through his terrified tears when his toddler self is propelled off the little stroller-bike, flies towards and then crashes through the solid trunk of a chestnut tree.

Summary
The routine helps, maybe, but it doesn't fix what happened.
The next seven days are as tense as life ever was back on the Force despite all of the 'normal' everyday tasks they focus on, and the relative safety from Freezer himself that had been the main argument for Goku bringing them here in the first place doesn't help it much, when the trio is stuck with people, entities, gods that are even more destructive that the lone tyrant can be.
They are at a stalemate.

Summary
The universe has grown larger, and darker, and meaner, with every new fighter encountered, fought, and beaten.
While the main players keep on gaining strength, toe to toe on the way up the Power Level Scale, one legendary warrior has long stepped past the top of the ladder and slipped to the other side, running to the end of the universe with his two friends.
With Son Goku waving at them on one side, and Frieza angrily waiting on the other, there's little Lemo, Chee Lai and Broly can do but prepare themselves for the worst.
It's no easy feat, to get off of the board entirely, but they sure won't stop trying.
