Summary
“Fa-Falin.” Her name is spoken in a breathy whisper, and for a moment Falin wonders if she’s hurting Marcille.
“Marcille, what’s wr-” As she looks up, she pauses. Marcille is looking back at her with half-lidded eyes, a deep blush on her cheeks, chest heaving as she lets out light pants. It takes Falin a moment to realise that the look in Marcille’s eyes isn’t pain.
It’s lust, and suddenly they’re locked in a deep, passionate kiss. It’s clumsy at first, but soon their tongues intertwine.
It's not the night they thought would happen, but it's the one they both needed the most.

Summary
Marcille shifted closer, moving to push the book at an angle where she could see its cover, when three things happened simultaneously.
First, she caught a glimpse, and what a glimpse it was. Armor and Ardor, it was called, and on the front was a painting of two women in a…very close embrace.
Second, Marcille jerked her hand back as if the image had burned her, but as Falin was turning in the same moment to allow her to read the book’s cover, Marcille instead pushed her hand straight back into Falin’s chest, exposed slightly by the loose fit of her tunic, and her knuckles sank deep into white, downy feathers.
Third, Falin gasped.

Summary
After a mortifying conversation forces Penelope to publish Colin Bridgerton's embarrassingly loud declaration that he would never marry her in her column, her already dismal prospects plummet even further. Feeling utterly defeated, Penelope resigns herself to spinsterhood, eager to seek solace in the safety of the shadows.
If only the third-born Bridgerton would stop trying to apologise.

Summary
“Do you truly have to ask what I was doing the night before our wedding?” Colin spat, the bitterness in his tone ricocheting to lash out at them both. “I thought Lady Whistledown knew what happens everywhere in London?”
Penelope's breath caught audibly, but she said nothing, just staring at him, wide-eyed and wary.
Colin tilted his head, his voice turning mocking—cruel in a way he knew he’d regret but could not contain. “Surely the carnal customs of a stag night at White’s have not escaped her ears?”
It was a bitter conjecture, one he did not truly mean, but it was also a test. And from the way her face paled, the look of utter agony that crossed her countenance, he wished he had not posed it.
A reimagining of Season 3, Episode 7’s wedding-eve confrontation, packed with angst, passion, and steamy moments. What if that purported scene involving prostitutes had not been cut? What if we could hear what Colin says to Penelope during their kiss? What if we'd had more time to let the original script's dialogue breathe and make sense? After months of post-season 3 polin brain rot, this is my labor of love.
