Apparently, the latest novel in the “dangerously fucking inaccurate vampire romance bullshit” genre is supposed to feature witchers. Aiden likes to read - and laugh at - terrible books. Lambert likes to rant about people being stupid. And the internet loves to hate popular things that teen girls enjoy. But at least with this book, there’s some things worthy of the hate-fest.

Old Ben Kenobi abides by Owen’s wishes and doesn’t teach Luke to use the Force.
But he accidentally ends up teaching other things, starting with Mon Calamari legends, and moving on through the languages, histories, and cardgames of the galaxy. The Jedi, after all, taught so much more than just how to swing a lightsaber, or even their own philosophies.
Luke loves to learn. He soaks up information like a sponge, and makes brilliant deductions, but sometimes those leaps of logic might be… a little bit off. Like when he decides that Ben is obviously Mandalorian.

Kremy takes it again. “Let’s hear the case for him lovin’ me, then.”
Gideon looks at him, and for some time, he doesn’t speak. Kremy smokes in silence, waiting. Gideon’s gaze is half-lidded and heavy but not scrutinizing. Still, Kremy struggles not to shift uncomfortably or wriggle out from under the weight of his stare. He’s never been good at quiet moments like this.
“Well,” Gideon says at length, “how could he not?”
