He wasn’t sure what version of himself Alistair might have wanted, which of the acts he’d played just to survive sometimes because Alistair couldn’t have been referring to the man who’d committed atrocities. And he wasn’t sure he could look past those atrocities to try and access the teenagers and children they’d been. “Provided Ambassador Montilyet never finds out.”
Alistair laughed, bright and bold and knocked their shoulders again. “Fair enough. But I, uh, I missed this, Cullen. Missed you.”
“I’ve…missed you as well.” He wasn’t sure if it was a lie or not. The boy he’d known, the man who’d saved him in the Tower, that was the Alistair he’d missed. But this man, the King of Ferelden, was foreign. Even if he wasn’t. And it was clear Alistair hadn’t changed much, not nearly as much as Cullen had.

Continuation of Saga Of A Templar
Cullen Rutherford has issues.
He has been demon possessed, he has been tortured, he has been turned on and abandoned and forsaken by those he trusted, those he cared about, those he worshiped.
He has also has found true friends where he least expected them.Cullen is now the Teyrn of Western Ferelden and serving the Inquisition. He has forsaken the templar Order and founded his own order of the Verumque where mages and knights are treated as equals and work together toward a common cause - To Serve Ferelden. Or, that's the intention.
His demon Wrath has now become Valor after making an accord with a feral mabari lost in the Frostback mountains. Valor is at Cullen's side as his guard and companion now.
Cullen is still restling with his remaining demon which he has named Reverie. He's realizing his mistake.Can his companions help him find true freedom and salvation before the Elder One comes for him?
Will they even figure out what he truly suffers from?
Can he even ask for the help he needs?Posts will come a bit slower for this part.

Lucky for him, 19-year old Cullen Rutherford, Templar Recruit, is part of the search party sent out to bring him home. Their fates collide when they are trapped together in a cave deep in the Frostbacks, with only each other to rely on for survival, and enough time to bring them close.
But the following decade is hard on the two men - Dorian's father completes his blood ritual, leaving his son irreparably changed, and Cullen's time trapped in Kinloch Hold has instilled in him an unwavering hatred for mages. When their paths cross again in the Inquisition, there's little left of the two boys who had fallen in love in the Frostbacks.
But perhaps they will learn to love and accept one another as they are now, scars and all...
