Summary
Mike couldn't explain to a toddler that he didn't want to talk right now without hurting her feelings. "Are you sleeping?" she asked louder, as if her volume had been the problem the first time.
Involuntarily, he heard himself make a chirping sound. He had only heard mothers, omega mothers, make that sound. Damn, he really couldn't get away from that part of himself. Holly giggled from outside, "You're awake, I heard you!"
"You got me, Holls." His voice even sounded tired.

Mike refuses to risk changing how the party perceives him by telling them he's an omega. Along with hiding his relationship with Will, and the fact that Holly's started to follow him around like a baby duck, the lies are becoming a tangled web.

Summary
“Earth to Mike,” Will said, handing Mike a plate of steaming pasta. Mike’s mouth watered in an instant. Maybe it was the effect of his alpha giving him food and their baby liking it– God. Their baby. He was going to grow a whole ass baby inside him.
He was going to grow a human being—a tiny, half-Will, half-Mike person—inside his own body.
Mike choked on his own spit and started coughing.
Or the story of how Mike got through his first pregnancy.

Summary
Will Byers has spent most of his life on the sidelines.
Ever since he and his twin sister, Jane, presented as a rare male omega and female alpha, Will has lived his days inside a carefully crafted glass prison. In search of better medical care and more open-minded values, Joyce and Jim—their mother and stepfather—moved the entire family to Lenora, California.
Without the familiar bounds of Hawkins and the pack he and Jane grew up with, Will has been drifting. Over the years, the distance between him and his old friends has grown wider and wider, as he continues to struggle with his identity in a world that holds a stubborn, one-sided view of omegas.
With that struggle comes an unfortunate reality: even after four long years of dating, Will still can’t stop pining after his sister’s boyfriend—his childhood best friend—Mike Wheeler.
By now, Will should be used to the feeling of being second best. He isn’t.
When his frustration at feeling stuck in one place finally reaches its breaking point, he decides it’s time to give up and move on.In response, something stirs.

Summary
Max and Billy never really got along, fighting was the main form of communication between the two of them. But they had each others backs. Billy dying was more than an emotional loss. Max couldn't really put her finger on it, it was just... more.
After her mom had married Neil, it hadn't taken long for Max to become accustomed to his unique parenting style. She started covering for Billy, and Billy soon learned to cover for her too. Lightly kicking her under the table whenever it was time to shut her mouth or taking her report cards and changing the B- to an A without a word. None of this they vocalized to each other. And outside of this pact the two of them still hated each other. But they had respect.
So losing him was hard, but not for the reason anybody would have guessed.
After the loss of Billy, Neil's aggression escalates and Max becomes his newest victim. Driven to unhealthy coping mechanisms, Max finds her safety start to coincide with the strange flickering of the lights in her home. She thinks nothing of it until one night she gets a call from her supposedly dead step-brother.
