Summary
"You know, I've never had the opportunity to comment on it, but I have the impression that living with Santos has been good for you." Robby stares at the end of the street before continuing. Whitaker mirrors him, doing the same.
The fleeting thought of saying that he no longer has to worry about being caught sleeping on the eighth floor, and that it has done wonders for his sleep, crosses his mind. Before Whitaker can ask why Robby thinks that, he feels it: almost like a feather, Robby's fingers land on the curls at the nape of his neck.
"That haircut looks good on you."
And Robby's voice is soft, like someone trying to rescue an injured bird without scaring it.
A shiver runs down Dennis' spine, and the sound escaping his mouth makes him blush. He freezes.

Summary
Whenever Robby enters the trauma room Dennis is in, he straightens his shoulders and lets his eyes drop to the nylon tiles. He only ever looks up when he is sure the older man is busy inspecting something else, like doctors are supposed to, like their job is to save lives and not stare down their colleagues. Sometimes, Robby catches him in the act, and it sends something straight from his gut to somewhere lower. Usually, they hold that eye contact for a few seconds, not moving or saying anything. He feels like he is on trial, seen and evaluated by something greater than himself. There is no air inflating or deflating his lungs when this happens. It feels like pain, feels like salvation. The momentary bliss of being the sole focus of his God after yearning for it all day. As if his prayers have been heard.
Then Robby blinks and looks away, so Dennis can breathe again.
Dennis stops Robby from going on his sabbatical. Things get complicated.

Summary
After surviving the fall, Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham leave behind a trail of murders inspired by Dante’s Inferno, transforming violence into art. Jack Crawford enlists Clarice Starling to decode their grim masterpiece, but as she delves deeper, she uncovers a love story written in blood—one where murder is their ultimate devotion.
You do not have to know Dante to read this.
…Also there’s quite a bit of smut. This is AO3, what do you take me for??ON HIATUS

Summary
There are cops in the ED when Dennis arrives for his shift.
Not necessarily unusual, sure, but he could've done without the unwelcome news that there's a knife-wielding maniac on the loose in their immediate vicinity.
Figures this would happen on a Monday.

Summary
See, that’s the thing about sex, and alcohol, and bad choices. They’re fun at first, but it’s a slippery slope. And once he started his ER rotations — Dennis met his match.
Michael Robinavitch
Michael, and his big, strong hands. Michael and his wrinkles. Michael and his religious mumblings on the floor of pedes. Michael and his magnetic fucking pull.
And Dennis, oh, Dennis was enamored.
Because yes, maybe Dennis’ first love was the city, or the sky above the farm, or god. But his heart was never reserved for an idea bigger than himself. And it was never really all that into casual sex with men who don’t touch him like he burns.
‘And god is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.’
Or
Dennis is in love with his boss, that much is clear. And his harmless exploration of sexuality turns to a reckless habit in an effort quell his feelings for Robby. Trinity has had enough, and Dennis vows to stop. Though Robby’s mixed signals make that very hard. (They’ll work it all out in the end.)
