Summary
When Ed searches Craigslist for a used bike, he finds a picture of a hot, confused-looking man in the middle of putting his shirt on (or taking it off?). In exchange for the bike, Ed offers to help Stede set up a Grindr profile, and over the course of an evening, they talk personal histories and historical pirates. By the end of the evening, they go for the ride of their lives.

Summary
If you wanted, I could marry you instead.
It's 2004, and Edward Teach just offered to marry his best friend to save Stede from the marriage his parents were planning to some girl he barely knew. They've run away, tied the knot at city hall, and now they find themselves in some tiny town by the sea that no one's ever heard of.
Two decades later, Ed will be one of the most famous people in the world, and they won't have spoken in years, but for now they're just kids: with no money, no place to live, and no idea what they're doing.
Also Ed's painfully in love with his best friend, but they don't talk about that.

Summary
Edward Teach has made quite a name for himself in Hollywood— directing, producing, cleaning up after Jack Rackham's messes— but he's lost some of the magic. When his friends Anne and Mary ask him to come to New York to produce their latest play, Ed finds a fast friend in Stede Bonnet, and maybe something more.
A late 1970s AU inspired by Orville Peck's song of the same name.

Summary
Sometimes it’s like Stede can read Ed’s thoughts—except for all the times when it’s painfully obvious that he can’t.
Especially the whole, y’know, Ed being in love with him thing.
Ed flicks some ash into the daffodil bed. “Thought you quit.”
“I did.” Stede says, all eyelashes and dimples as he makes a “gimme” motion with two fingers.
Ed sighs and hands over the pack and a lighter. He isn’t present as he does it, not really. He’s thinking about that other life, where Stede takes Ed’s cigarette from his lips without asking.
A modern AU based on Lucy Dacus' album, Forever is a Feeling.

Summary
Stede sells soap. Ed sells soup. Their adjacent holiday market booths give them a chance to become fast friends. A sudden emergency has Ed offering a wild solution—a quick sham marriage to allow Stede to keep accessing his much-needed medication.
Ed’s never planned to get married. Stede never wants to be married again. It’s an easy choice, as long as no one’s heart gets involved.

Summary
"But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness".
1 John 1:9
Edward Teach knows sin and guilt. He's got success and fame, a life that most would envy professionally, but his personal life is another matter entirely. He's shit at relationships, shit at finding happiness, in general, Ed's always been a bit shit. He knows he's floating through life, and eventually floats back into the same city he went to college. The same city he once crushed a sweet guy all for the sake of winning a bet.
And meets Father Stede Bonnet, a man who seems to see into his guilt-laden soul and offers to wash his sins clean.
