A world where most governments adhere to the structure known as The Anthrostate, it definately isn't a perfect government and there has and will be many public issues stemming from supply and demand of the worlds rarest commodity. Men, human men. Having a much smaller population to their larger anthro female counterparts many problems and many tales occur within the states territories, as well as social issues that are often swept under a rug, or news on it is mostly spread by the state itself. In such a strange world many questions can arise. This is the setting of The Anthrostate.

I did not create this setting nor do I claim to be in charge of how it works I simply wanted to give it a thorough overview like you would with a Fantasy or Sci-Fi setting. I am taking inspiration from almost all Anthrostate stories to try and piece this into just a general setting that anyone can adopt and write their own stories in and I think having a solid establishing of the setting will help more stories from this interesting setting gradually come about.Please feel free to leave comments or key things about the setting I may have missed and I will be happy to edit and add more to this.
