Summary
This is the kind of negotiation that Will has been winning for months, the kind where Hannibal offers a concession and Will accepts it and then, an hour later, offers a smaller concession in return, and then another, and then another, until the opera has been replaced by Hannibal’s weakness.
Will’s mouth.

Summary
“And what are you in the mood for, Louis?” Lestat could have fallen to his knees and wept. The beauty of Louis, his heat, his heart. What was the hurt Lestat felt compared to that? Nothing, a mere blip. “Aside from litigation and smoking my cigarettes and siphoning money from my merchandise?”
Or: After the meeting with their lawyers, Louis finds Lestat outside.

Summary
The moonless sky blanketed Hannibal’s room in total darkness. He woke to the cold press of steel against his throat and a warm body straddling his lap. Will. He could smell him clear through the hazy fog of his lingering dreams.
Hannibal swallowed and the edge of the blade pressed bluntly against his skin. “Were you hoping I’d wake before or after you made the first cut?”
Will’s body shifted and the bedside lamp clicked on. “I’ve decided how I’d like you to repay me for saving your life.”
“Am I in your debt? My life would not have required saving had you not tried to take it to begin with.”
“I think you’re whatever the guy with the knife says you are.”

Summary
During his incarceration, Hannibal sends Will a total of sixteen letters over the span of three years.
An attempt at figuring out what exactly happened in the time skip from Hannibal’s arrest to the end of The Wrath of the Lamb. About the trials we never got to see, a marriage we know nothing about, Will’s loneliness and his longing translated through a correspondence in (love) letters.
The shame, the sexual frustration, the attempts at relapsing, all the promises broken and all the ''I miss you''s that were never said. Because love is an unhealthy addiction, and only fools believe you can live pretending it isn't there.

Summary
“My God, I love you so much.”
“I don’t know what I’d do if you didn’t, Will.”
Their fingers intertwined and Will squeezed Hannibal’s hand as tight as he could, never wanting to let him go.
“I’d die for you, Hannibal.” Will said, and his eyes were only filled with honesty.
