Summary
Roughly a year and a half after he moved away from Beach City, Steven Universe called all of his family to his new home. Spinel, wishing to escape the Diamonds' smothering, decides to join them. However when an unexpected attack results in Spinel getting pulled into another universe, she finds herself prisoner of Dr. De Kuiper, aka Sigma. After escaping the mad doctor, Spinel is taken in by an organization calling themselves "Overwatch." While under their care, she begins to bond with her new friends and makes a home for herself. More importantly, she begins to grow a fondness for the first Overwatch agent she ever met: Junkrat. With him, she discovers the very human emotion of love, and uncovers deeply-buried truths from her past and powers she never knew she had. This is all very timely, as the evil Sigma has ambitious, horrifying plans for the entire Gem race, plans only Spinel may be able to stop.
