A shootout between two mafia clans resulted in three civilian casualties. When I was assigned to cover the story, I thought I would be in and out, ten minutes and some fake apology. Little did I know that a carefully set trap would plant me in the middle of a mafia war. The Park Clan against the Min Clan, a family once known as The 7, the most prestigious mafia group in Seoul. No one knows what caused the split. What I do know is that they're using me as a pawn in their game. And I don't much like being a pawn.

Summary
Y/n Wörner left the Wörner Hotel and Estate nearly 5 years ago in an attempt to run away from a family argument that put a firm divide between her and her parents. She was managing fine for the most part, save for the constant existential crisis she can't seem to escape-but who can anyway when they are in their twenties? That was until an invitation for the 150th anniversary of their family hotel ended up shoved in her mailbox (and against all rationale) she found herself running back; unable to stop the pull to return home to her friends who still live on the grounds. Once she arrives, it becomes apparent that things are very, very, wrong. The ghosts of her long-past family who were once friendly, are now vengeful and violent. Her once inseparable friends are divided by secrets, mystery, and fear as a result of the darkness that threatens to drown them in its wake. If there's one thing about Y/n Wörner, it's that she's not a quitter. No ghost or demon will stop her from getting the answers she needs to solve this unfolding mystery-even if it means they have to try and kill her before she gets to them.
Unfortunately for everyone involved, the spirits seem to take the previous statement as a personal challenge.
