Instead of immediately replying, Theo does the graceful thing and shoves Corey’s hands off of him, sending him stumbling backwards for a few seconds in an effort to regain his balance. Then, to solidify his authoritative role and remind himself that he won’t have to deal with Liam’s bad attitude for much longer, because if the new coach has any sense, the kid’ll be shipped right back to the team he came from as soon as he gains a lick of power, Theo says: “Fuck you.”
Liam’s grin widens, becoming almost blinding as his eyes curl up at the corners. “Are you offering?”
(According to the press, Scott McCall is an annoying, crazy-juice chugging, sorry-excuse for a football coach that is destined to drive an already average club like Beacon Hills into the ground.
