Summary
When Dennis agreed to cover shifts for Dr. Mohan on the night shift, he didn't think he would ever end up here. Kidnapped from the ambulance bay, his head pounding, and having to save the life of a man with limited medical supplies. That was supposed to be it. Somehow, he finds himself snatched up off a sidewalk, in the stables, in front of his home. There were no sacred spaces when you proved your worth.
In the middle of it all, Dennis is confused by the way Dr. Robby and Dr. Abbot are circling him. The way they'd reach out and brush their fingers against his skin. The way they made sure he ate, got rest, and stayed safe. It made him ache with something he hadn't felt in a long time.

Summary
Whitaker is house sitting for robby while he's gone on his sabbatical. The poor boy is so love sick that Abbot takes notice nearly immediately. He ends up taking him out, and treating him nicely to try and make up for it. This keeps happening and their relationship grows deeper. Robby figured this out when he came home early to find them, in his bed.
