When Leon sees her again, for the first time in six months, after he left her in that helicopter he is shocked at the state of her and takes it upon himself to bring her back to the living. All the while Grace cant stop asking herself 'Why?'

My perception of the game, the characters, and how they gradually grow attached to each other, developing all that mutual longing and emotional turmoil. I don't know what else to write here, I'm just having fun.
The air in the lobby was thick with the stale smell of cheap coffee, paper dust, and that particular brand of soul-crushing office ennui. Leon stepped outside. A fine, misty rain was falling. He loaded the boxes onto the back seat of the Mustang, slid behind the wheel, and then just sat there for a moment, staring at the grey walls of the building. Hovering before his eyes were those green eyes behind glasses and that frightened face. "Grace Ashcroft," he repeated to himself. Just a name. Just a random encounter. He had a lot of work waiting for him. He started the engine and pulled out of the lot, carrying away with him not only boxes of files documenting death, but also a vague, inexplicable feeling that today, he had seen something important. Something that, maybe, was connected to this whole case. Or maybe it was just the fatigue playing tricks on him, making him look for connections where there were none.

Leon? He hadn't called nor messaged her since the incident. Well…it's not like he had any obligation to. But that's the reason that she hadn't even originally recognized his voice.
“U-huh. Is ev-everything okay?” She asked, forcing her voice to be as steady as possible.
“....by the tone of your voice, I should be the one asking that.” Leon said, making her almost snap and break the line. Who the hell did he think he was? Only the man that saved her life, her brain supplied, but she ignored it. She was annoyed, angry, sleep deprived and the last thing that she needed was Leon's sudden inquiry about her wellbeing.
Due to her silence, most likely, the DSO agent continued speaking. “I was just calling to see if you could help out with some reports between the FBI and the DSO. I've called your office first but they've told me that you're on medical leave due to mental health reasons.” No privacy was allowed for her, or so it seemed. She'd have a talk with her so-called supervisor about this when she had the time.
“Y-yeah. Sure. I, we could,” Grace looked down at Emily and let out a curse under her breath.
