Summary
Too impatient to wait for Caleb to arrive, Essek forges ahead with a magical experiment, only for things to go terribly, terribly wrong.
When Caleb arrives at Essek’s tower, he gets the fright of his life discovering the horrific effects of that experiment gone awry.
But maybe it’s not what it seems—and maybe those effects aren’t all bad, after all.
Excerpt:
With the floodwaters of his panic receding, he searched its face: the snow-white fur, the ears too tall for a natural wolf, the violet eyes that glinted in the lamplight—The violet eyes—
Caleb’s heart stuttered. “Essek?!”

Summary
Welcome to the Bedroom Hymns Continuity, which is basically the canon!verse with a divergence into the realm of slightly-cracked porn, focusing on Lucifer x Sam x Gabriel but who knows what else I might end up throwing out there by the time it's complete.
The series is listed in chronological order but might not necessarily be posted in chronological order, if that makes any sense.

Ugly sobbing. You know that one Stucky fic, To memory now I can't recall? This is, spiritually, the Shadowgast version of that, and it will make you cry just as hard for the same reasons.
Really killer craftwork in the writing, too, chef's kiss.

Summary
“Can you tell me why you are so certain I would prefer your younger face?”
Caleb laughed again, still disbelieving. It seemed impossible that Essek could not understand this—Caleb felt like he was being asked to explain why burnt food tasted bad, or why putting one’s hand through a meat grinder would hurt. But Essek’s bemusement seemed entirely genuine. “Because it’s not as ugly? Because who likes fucking decrepit old men?”
“Clearly you have not heard what your students say about you when they think you cannot hear,” Essek said, with such dry frankness that it startled a laugh out of Caleb.
Caleb is getting old, and has a hard time believing that Essek can still be attracted to him. Essek decides to prove him wrong with a little tender loving bondage and body worship.

Bookmarking so I don't lose it again. Very sweet body worship with a simmering kind of hotness.

Summary
So I was looking at the official moorbounder artwork. The length and positioning of their tusks do not seem to fit with their known environment and diet. Here an exploration for the possible reasons behind the tusk shape.

Summary
There are freckles on Caleb’s back. Essek traces his finger from point to point, like he is trying to find the most efficient way to gather them, collect them on the tip of his finger and steal them for his own. When he reaches the last, he starts over. It is good to try multiple paths. Pathfinding is, after all, an algorithmic challenge. Essek’s canvas twitches, a flex of muscle along the ridge line of a shoulder blade.
“That tickles a bit.” Caleb’s voice is muffled by the pillow.
“I am way-finding,” Essek says, finger looping back to his starting point again.
