Summary
For a second, neither of them speak. It feels like neither of them are even breathing. Silence descends upon them like a storm cloud; Buck can feel the rumbling threat of danger in the atmosphere. Can taste the crackle of lightning in the back of his throat.
Whatever Buck had thought of Tommy - whatever he’d seen in him before this very moment - all of it fades away. Any attraction, any connection they might have shared…it all just disappears, as if it had never existed in the first place. And all that’s left behind is a man with cold eyes and a cruel smirk, and a heart two sizes too small. A man who Buck looks at and feels nothing for except contempt. Except disgust. Except shame that Buck had ever been interested in him at all.
“I’m done,” Buck declares. “I’m leaving.”

"So yes, as the contingency plan, I still come last. The prison riot was different because that was both of us in danger, but if it only has to be one of us in danger, then it's going to be me. Always." Buck declared, voice hard and eyes meeting Eddie's evenly.
"You aren't a fucking contingency plan!" Eddie exclaimed, arms gesticulating wildly.
"Yes. I. Am." Buck ground out, hands fisting where they now rested at his sides.

Or the one where Buck puts himself in danger to save Eddie and the two boys finally have a much needed conversation about the will and the shooting. Right in front of Hen and Chim, who were just trying to read their respective book/social media post. But hey, after five years of their pining, they were at least invested in the drama unfolding before them.

Summary
Really, Eddie doesn’t care that the PTA aren’t his biggest fan. He knows he misses too many meetings, and it’s not like he’s best friends with any of the other parents. It doesn’t affect Christopher, so it doesn’t bother him. He’ll pay for the annual fundraising mugs and consider his duty done.
But then Buck picks Christopher up from a class trip and it all goes to hell.
Like, of course Buck is everyone’s dream guy. He’s responsible with kids, and kind, and funny and interesting and hot to touch. That’s obvious. But now Eddie’s fighting to keep the PTA moms, teachers, and dads, all off an unsuspecting and tempting Buck.
Because Eddie is a good friend. Right?
