Just after his eleventh birthday, Sam Winchester received a letter dropped off by an owl of all things. Dean Winchester knew two things: First, their dad would absolutely kill a wizard, even if he was family, and second, this Ilvermorny place was not far enough away from their father by any stretch of the imagination.
Harry Potter chose a very important train compartment on his first ride to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There was a small boy sitting alone in the compartment reading, and this boy had on his person three knives and a bottle of holy water. Harry Potter had found his people.
Severus Snape thought he must be extremely unlucky to be the only faculty member at the school who had a muggle landline phone at his summer residence…unlucky, but also so very thankful. Summary
Ron wants to tell him, again, that he’s not focused, that he’s not planning this whole thing through properly, that he keeps missing things. That they need more structure, that he wouldn’t have lost his temper like he had if only they had the safety of a strategy.
But he also wants to say that they’re kids, they’re just fucking kids, and what the hell are they doing, how are they supposed to fix this, and he just wants to go home, and have a decent fucking meal, and not think about how Harry and Hermione are getting closer, and how even though he chose Harry first, Harry always seems to choose someone else.

Ron’s insecurity has been flaring up horribly, especially with their match against Slytherin fast approaching. Harry is at a loss for what to do to help his friend. So when they accidentally interrupt Ginny in a hallway and she calls Ron out for never having kissed anybody.
