Summary
While Jim Kirk is attending Starfleet academy, the overwhelming stress of trying to meet enormous expectations causes him severe anxiety, to the point of experiencing intense nightmares and insomnia. With no healthy outlets and no one to talk to, he drops out during his second year and picks up a job at a nightclub as a male stripper. When Spock’s peers pay for him to recieve a lapdance, sparks fly and he reaches out, unaware of the twists and turns his life will take with this Starfleet drop-out at his side.

“Really?” The Admiral says in a tone of unabashed curiosity.
“I can assure you, ma’am, we are not doing this for recreational purposes.” Spock says dryly.

Or the one in which Jim gets hit with Sex Pollen TM, but Spock doesn't like his consent dubious so politely declines.
