Qiao Ling suddenly notices something about the nature Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang's relationship. Unfortunately, she seems to be the only one who's caught on.

He began to amass quite the collection of Cheng Xiaoshi photos with a full range of emotions—all taken in complete and utter secrecy. In all honesty, he wasn’t sure how he’d managed to pull it off over the years, maybe Cheng Xiaoshi just pretended he didn’t notice; either way, he didn’t mind. As long as he had the photos, that was enough for him.
"Oh my god, what have I found here?" Cheng Xiaoshi laughed, making Lu Guang's eyes dart away from his book and onto what he was holding in his hands; it seemed his 'hidden' box wasn't so hidden after all.

Summary
Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling reconnect with an old friend from university, who tells Cheng Xiaoshi she loves him. Platonically? Romantically? Cheng Xiaoshi doesn't know either. Cheng Xiaoshi subsequently struggles with the idea of being loved, the notion of family and his own feelings.
Meanwhile, Lu Guang can feel his own boundaries slipping despite his better judgement. And is busy angsting, but hey, what's new, really?
There's quite a plot twist in this, actually.
