Summary
AU of Season 6 ending (canon compliant until The Man Who Knew Too Much, au from there on). Castiel and Crowley are close to finding Purgatory and claiming the souls inside, Crowley to secure his seat in Hell, and Castiel to end the war with Raphael once and for all. But with Bobby Singer and the Winchester's rapidly gaining ground against them, Castiel makes a desperate move to grind their progress to a halt and keep his found family safe against the archangel looking to restart the apocalypse.
