Summary

Hal groans. "No way!! Why am I the third love interest?? Like, not even the second?!"
"Shut it." Bruce's left eye twitches as he looks at his status window. "At least you aren't described like a Dark Romance love interest."
Hal whistles, glancing at what Bruce was looking at. "Yikes… Everyone wants the cold duke of the north, but no one wants to be him."
"Hey! At least you don't have to fake not being an orphan, since even here, you're parentless." Hal shrugs, patting Bruce's shoulder.
Bruce gives him a look. "I hope you get killed in the war with the Demon King."

Or Hal and Bruce accidentally need to get isekai'd into a dating sim as the second and third love interests, who are supposed to hate each other (something that's not that difficult to replicate). The only way back home is for the Main Character to fall in love and finish the game. While dodging bad endings, death flags, conspiracies, and clichés, Hal and Bruce start feeling something more than their usual annoyance with each other.
