Summary
Park Jimin is a lot of things. Hardworking, ambitious, and a little arrogant—all good traits to have as a theater student. As a senior about to participate in the final play of his high school career, it seems that everything is falling into place. The musical they're performing tugs at his heartstrings, his favorite character aligns well with his personality, and he's got enough seniority, skill, and talent where nothing could go wrong.
Except when his best friend doesn't want to play his love interest. Except when his other option is a classmate he doesn't care for. Except when he steps into the theater to audition and finds not only his not-so-favorite classmate, but also the junior that drives Jimin crazy. And NOT in a good way.
When casting decisions are finalized, Jimin is forced to adjust to everything that could have gone wrong. Throughout setbacks, fights, and revelations, Jimin begins to see that maybe... maybe what he thought would go wrong was actually right all along.

Summary
If someone asked Jeongguk if he was happy he would smile and say, “Yes.”
He had a lot to be happy about. He had the family of his childhood dreams; a beautiful wife, a dog, and two wonderful little boys. He even had the perfect house, a little cottage style home complete with the white picket fence. Jeongguk was able to stay at home with his kids, doing whatever he wanted in the time that wasn’t occupied by his four year old and nine month old. His wife was the breadwinner, the personal assistant to the CEO of a technology company, and bringing in enough money that they had everything they needed as well as everything they wanted.
…he just wished his wife was around more.
But he was happy. He knew he could be happier—a lot happier, but it was fine.
He was fine.

Summary
“Hey,” he began after a small moment of silence. She’d moved her noodles over and ripped open the powder packet. “Is everything okay?”
The one question she didn’t want him to ask. It was embarrassing how quickly tears welled up. She ducked her head, hiding her face behind the strands of brown dyed blonde she regretted getting from day one. The bangs did wonders on being a natural curtain that wouldn’t raise questions. It took all nice years of acting experience to keep her voice even.

Summary
“I think you should toss it,” his roommate suggested. “You don’t know how long it’s been in there.”
“It smells and looks okay though,” he argued with a slight petulant whine. He hated wasting food and he was hungry. If he tossed the noodles he’d have to find something else to eat. Cooking was the last thing he wanted to do right now and money was too tight this month to splurge on takeout. He already skipped breakfast.
Jimin’s face twisted, doubting. Jeongguk pointedly closed the fridge door, box in hand. Brown eyes rolled and Jimin shuffled back into his room, tossing over his shoulder, “If you get food poisoning don’t come crying to me.”

Summary
“Besides, Jeongguk, I’m sure we’re not the only ones who noticed this poor guy's predicament. Wouldn’t it be a nice thing to do? Saving him from social judgement?”
It would be a nice thing to do. Jeongguk was a nice person. But he didn’t know him! Maybe he didn’t want help. Would he read it as pity? Which, Jeongguk pitied him a little—no one wanted to be in that situation—but he was more concerned than anything. The guy looked really, really sad-
Jeongguk glanced over at the exact moment Jimin sighed, chin once again pillowed in his hand. He peered out the window, the entire corner he sat in painted with melancholy. His heart squeezed.
He was on his feet and walking before he knew it.

Summary
Jeongguk has been deaf since he was fifteen. It was difficult for him to adjust and after seeing how different he was treated, he started up a YouTube channel with his best friend to spread awareness. He didn’t expect to stumble across a cute drive thru worker that accommodated his needs perfectly.
He most definitely didn’t expect for them to get in a relationship.
But he wasn’t complaining.
