Summary
About a year ago, the Magic Council started receiving reports about a high concentration of wild magic in this area. Further investigation concluded that a rift in the Veil between the Feywild and this world, that had existed within the forest for decades, had grown wider. And, while it was determined that the rift wasn’t dangerous, the new state of things had to be thoroughly documented - which, to be frank, was a job that no one wanted to take on. It was far from any larger settlements, which meant that whoever went there had to be able to survive on their own. Besides that, it was a territory filled with not only fey creatures, but also wild magic, which was, for most magic users, annoying to work with.
That, however, didn't include Crowley.
He was the only druid in the country that managed to learn and control the wild magic, after all, which earned him a place in the Council, even if it was strictly political. They couldn’t simply ignore a talent like that, even if they didn't like him.

Summary
Betrayed not once but twice, Narinder receives mercy from the Lamb following his defeat. He will bide his time for a chance at revenge, even if it takes another thousand years.
Lambert decides to take a page out of Narinder's book and become someone willing to wait. They will befriend the now-furious god they fell for, even if it takes a thousand years.
Too bad the Mystic Seller had to drop a boulder into still water. The Bishops get involved in their lives once more, and Narinder only gets more enraged as one by one they make their reappearance. And like some leech taking a ride for the fun of it, a disgusting illness sneaks its way into his mind.
