Summary
Inko helps her son put together a first aid kit when he’s in his first year of middle school.
It is, probably, a long time coming. Inko remembers his childhood fascination with taking her purses apart, endless questions about each item she carried with her. The objects he would always linger on were never her office keys, or the yen coins, or her impressive collection of bank pens.
(‘Those are painkillers, baby, they help with headaches.’
‘Of course I have band-aids, in case you scrape your knees.’
‘Those are antiseptic wipes. No, close, but they’re different from the antihistamine cream.’)
(‘Why do you carry all of that, Mom?’
‘Well, just in case I need it, or you need it. Or anyone else needs it.’)

Summary
Harry checked his watch for a third time. Pansy was actively tapping her foot, looking annoyed, and when she saw him do it, she downed the rest of her drink.
“I’m calling it,” she said. “Either something came up at work or they’re shagging in some utterly inappropriate place and forgot about dinner.”

He sighed, stirring more sugar into his tea. “Exactly how bad is this going to be, Pansy?”
There was a very long pause. “Look. Draco and I are engaged.”
“Er,” Harry said, slowly. “Congratulations? Except, um, you do know -”
Pansy glanced up, looking almost amused. “That he’s stupidly in love with Hermione?”
“I was more going to say that she was stupidly in love with him.”
