Summary
Bilbo is captured on his way home from to the shire after Thorin stands by his decision to banish him after the battle, while Dis is captured on her way to Erebor. Locked away together the pair fight for their escape forming a friendship stronger the any Dis has ever known. After their successful escape Dis flees with an injured Bilbo to the Lonely Mountain determined to get him help no matter the cost or her stubborn brothers opinion.
This is a story of heartache and regret, but it's also a story of the unbreakable strength of friendship, second chances, and a love that defied all odds.

Bilbo Baggins came home one sunny spring day exhausted, half starved and pregnant. His heart was broken, his name cursed by the dwarves he had saved and his house was on auction by the worst relative you could imagine. It was, understandably, a terrible day.
Once it comes out that Bilbo is *expecting,* however, even the most prim and proper hobbits are scandalised at the poor treatment he received by the conspicuously absent father (and, by extension, all his kind). The Shire rallies around their poor, ill-treated and half-starved kinsman, and the climate of dwarvish relations takes a decidedly chilly turn.- Language:

When Arna and Sol are attacked by a pack of orcs on the road back to Ered Luin, they’re rescued by three mysterious dwarves. Arna is half elf, and therefore immediately hated by Thorin, but Sol is a relatively experienced fighter and he’s impressed by her skills. He introduces them to Gandalf the Grey and Dwalin (who just so happens to be the same guard that Sol had a fight with just a few days before), and they ask her if she wants to accompany them on a journey to reclaim Erebor. Only on one condition would she agree - they let her take Arna with her.
