    Summary

    After Aizawa Shouta's famous Quirk Assessment Test where he chews out his newest Problem Child for lack of Quirk Control and tells him blatantly that he can't become a Hero, he finds out two things. That Midoriya Izuku's Quirk came in on the date of Yuuei's Entrance Exam and that he is now in need of a foster parent. And it just so happens that Aizawa Shouta is in the best situation to raise a kid with such a self-destructive Quirk.

    Now he has to learn how to both successfully parent and to try his best to mend the fragile and already battered trust between him and his new Problem Son. What could possibly go wrong?

    For as long as Izuku could remember, teachers could never be trusted.
    He would get blamed for things he was nowhere near. Things third years have done to underclassmen. He would get blamed for stealing, for assault. They never got put on his record as there was no documentation that could be attached to it (in reality, they didn’t want the people who really did those things get caught. The school would rather torture the quirkless student that let their star pupils get a mark).

    “Midoriya, what is this?”

    Aizawa was holding a piece of notebook paper that had been folded in quarters and tucked in the middle of a notebook. Izuku didn’t recognize it immediately, but when he got a glimpse of the sloppy handwriting, the blood drained from his face.

    “Oh my god. I’m so sorry, that shouldn’t be in there. I’m so glad you found it, I can’t imagine if Eri saw…”

    “Is this what I think it is?”

    Izuku swallowed around the lump in his throat.

    Aizawa had found his high school suicide note.

    When looking through Izuku's old analysis notebooks from high school, Aizawa finds the suicide note Izuku wrote in his second year at UA. He insists it's all in the past, but re-reading the note sparks some reflection for Izuku. Maybe he's not as okay as he thought.
