Hashirama was always on about how peace would be great, ushering in some golden age of harmony where everyone lives life in peace and leisure. Tobirama wasn't buying it. For him, peace just meant infinite overtime to handle everything his big brother slacked on, all while getting jumped by Madara Uchiha. Peaceful and leisurely? In what universe?!

Summary
Hashirama saved Izuna and Madara agreed to peace. Konoha is standing on its new foundation, resting on the shoulders of two giants.
But where does that leave their loyal shadows? The little brothers that swore themselves to the way of war? What good are their sharp edges when the world wants to learn to be soft?
Who would understand that it's not so easy to let go of living your life in ever-present readiness to fight, to kill?[despite this vague summary this is actually very much a fix-it for the Founder's era. Izuna lives. The Shinobi Wars sort of don't happen. Sort of. Everyone lives. Hashimada is canon. Couple of OCs kicking around to fill the background.]

Summary
Tobirama Senju and Izuna Uchiha are tied together by the black thread of fate, destined to die by the other’s hand like their brothers Hashirama and Madara. The thread becomes entangled, however, when Tobirama happens to save Izuna’s life in a moment of conflict and Izuna is bound by honour to settle his debt.
