Summary
Mishima is not the most observant student at his school. He isn’t very good at sensing glamours, concealing spells, or disguises. Actually, he has almost no ability to sense another person at all; it’s just not where any of his natural talents lie. Because he lacks in that skill, Mishima has to get along like any other human who can only see with their eyes, which tended to make it harder to tell when spells were being cast; it is one of the many reasons why bullies seem to find him an easy target. Being able to sense when anything magical is approaching makes it much easier to avoid surprises, and Mishima is getting very tired of being surprised.
Eyeing his most recent surprise wearily, Mishima wonders what to do.

Summary
“They say Emrys tamed the great dragon of Camelot and sired the white dragon of Albion-”
“Sired?” Gwaine interrupted “This Emrys fellow is going around siring dragons? How exactly is that happening? Sex with other dragons?” He asked and despite the situation, Merlin flushed. The man in question blinked, looking equally baffled by the question. From the corner of his eye, Merlin could see Arthur pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Uh…I actually don’t know.”
“But you’re Emrys,” Merlin reminded the imposter with a sigh “You don’t remember siring any dragons?”
“I said it was an off day!” The man complained, trying to cross his arms despite being upside down. Merlin took a long breath. Lancelot had already walked away, but that did nothing to hide his howling laughter.

The knights keep hearing various (dramatic) rumors about the great and mighty Emrys. Everyone is such a gossip. Merlin is trying not to have a heart attack. Lancelot is loving life.

“What did you do now Merlin?”
“Got cursed.”
Merlin slumped into the room and fell onto the bench of the table across from Gaius, laying his head dramatically on a book of something or other Arthur didn’t bother to look too closely at.
“Cursed.” Gaius echoed, unimpressed.
“Cursed.” Merlin sighed back, like some kind of weepy maiden.
“He can’t lie,” Arthur supplied, walking further into the room and standing behind Merlin, pushing his head off the book roughly. Merlin squawked and glared at him before shaking his head and turning back to Gaius.
