Summary
In a different timeline, Makomo became the water Hashira, this won't make Giyuu or Sabito return to life, but at least she can honor their memories. In another timeline Sabito spared the demon girl after witnessing the bravery of her older brother, he sees a little of his younger self in him, at least he hopes the boy can protect his sister, unlike him, who couldn't save Giyuu during the final selection. Giyuu doesn't know what is happening; one moment he's slicing Lower Five's neck, another moment he faces two slayers who hold an uncanny resemblance to his late friends.

En una linea alterna, Makomo se volvió la pilar del agua; puede que esto no traiga a Giyuu o Sabito de vuelta a la vida, pero al menos sirve para honrar su memoria. En otra linea Sabito dejó vivir a la demonio recién nacida tras ser testigo del valor de su hermano mayor, quizás es que ve un poco de su yo más joven reflejado en él... al menos espera que el chiquillo pueda proteger a su hermana, a diferencia de él, quien falló en salvar a Giyuu durante su selección final. Giyuu no entiende qué está pasando; en un momento se encuentra cortando el cuello de la Quinta Menguante, al otro se ve encarado con dos cazadores que tienen un parecido inquietante con sus amigos muertos.
