Summary
Owen sat in pure darkness, which was fine, darkness doesn’t hurt like the way light did, but it also meant that there was nothing to look at, nothing to distract himself from the memories. He was forced to relive the stares, the whispers, … Louis’ death. Over and over again, no matter what he did, the memories never stopped,
… but then it did.
Or what if everyone that died came back in the modern world (+ Louis) Follow Owen and Louis, as Louis tries to help Owen heal and become a better person.

Summary
Louis was grateful about being a vampire for a lot of reasons.
First off, immortal life was pretty great. No diseases, no death haunting your step, nothing to really be scared about unless you are incredibly stupid, and Louis liked to think that he wasn’t. The strength was nice too, it helped him get out of a lot of situations, and of course the white hair was something Louis liked more than he would admit. It did suit him, but the red eyes were a hassle to hide.
But the thing he was the most grateful for when it came to his vampirism was the lack of blood and breathing, because otherwise Louis might have let out a strangled squeak as he noticed that Owen had fallen asleep in the chair beside him.

Summary
Avid saw light. It was a strange sight in this dark place, one he wasn’t used to. He followed it, and then he was being pulled up, air rushing around him as he flew out of his control too fast to think.
Then he was jolting upright, coughing and spluttering and crying out, his body in more pain than he could bear.
He was alive.
(Avid is revived as a demon and Scott helps him adjust to modern life)

Summary
It’s been two-hundred years since Oakhurst. Since Avid.
Scott’s adamant that he’s moved on, at least outwardly anyway. Yet as he, Shelby, and Drift find their way back to that ghost town village he can’t help the feelings in his gut. They meet with Pearl and Cleo at the castle, their yearly tradition starting off normally.
Except normal and Oakhurst never belong together, and suddenly Scott’s too busy protecting his Fledglings from a monster to care about the silver burning a hole through his heart.
Or.
Avid is brought back by something he doesn’t understand, and that something doesn’t let him have control long enough for his new life to be worth anything. He assumes the worst, that his life will no longer be his own and rather just watching this thing live as him.
But then a familiar face is in front of him. And he looks ready to kill.
