Summary
Coco becomes a brimmed cap and sets off to cure her mother, because surely if the brimmed caps have all types of magic at their disposal, they can help her, right? Right?
Except they can't, and Coco returns one night to the atelier with a different goal: to cure Qifrey.

Summary
Qifrey notices, not for the first time, how Coco acts around the others at the Atelier. How her hands shake ever so slightly more, how her smile doesn’t quite reach her eyes just as much.
Or, Coco has been acting differently. Qifrey watches, and wonders why his apprentice is breaking apart at the seams.
DNI if you are an anime only watcher who doesn’t want spoilers!! This fic is set in the current arc and therefore you won’t understand half of what’s going on, so pick up the manga if you’re able and read this later!

Summary
Coco, having suddenly entered into a world that's terribly different from what she knows, comes to the conclusion her roommate isn't quite fond of her. The tall, dark-haired witch, Olruggio, doesn't seem particularly happy to have her around, either. Having lost her mom, the only pack she’d ever had, she has to find a place for herself in the already established pack in the atelier.
And what goes wrong when she believes she doesn't have a place there.
Exploring her initial dynamics with Agott and Olruggio— I love them both, but it’s not a stretch to say their first interactions with Coco wouldn't inspire some uncertainty and dampen her self-confidence. Threatening to turn a twelve-year-old into the witch police wouldn't exactly make her feel secure in her home, I’d think.
