In the 3 seconds Shin'ya had left the room, Kalim dropped his botched potion to the floor and turned all the Housewardens present into children- and specifically after the worst times of their lives. Everyone except Malleus is affected, of course, because a potion that weak, despite how terribly made it was, wouldn't do jack shit even after his incurred weakness during his overblot.
With absolutely 0 memories of their time at NRC, Shin'ya- alongside Lilia and the other idiots she's befriended, do what they can to take care of the housewardens until the potion wears off, and in turn learn some not-so-savoury things about the Housewardens affected.
Or- I turn 5 of our beloved overblotters + Kalim into kids and have everyone learn new stuff abt them. Some of that stuff is very traumatizing!

Summary
Yuu & the twst cast finally find a way for them to go home, much to the twst cast's happiness for Yuu and their own dismay at losing them. Yuu gets trinkets, mostly magical and the technologically advanced things, and other things as parting gifts and brings everything they got in twst. For a while, they don't contact each other until Yuu reaches out.
