Summary
“I’m gonna marry you one day.”
Lance pauses, hands stiffening where he had been carefully bandaging Keith’s stab wound. He looks up to meet indigo eyes, hazy with pain and whatever poison the blade had been doused in.
Adoring, as they stare into him. Lance swallows.
“What makes you say that?” he asks, entertaining it. His fingers tremble a little on the cloth he’s using, and he wills them to go still.
“I dunno,” Keith slurs, and he manages a huff of laughter at that. “You look like the love of my life.”

Without hesitating, Lance lifted his good hand to rest on Keith’s cheek and stroked his thumb across it, silently appreciating his pouty features as he swallowed. “Tell me every day you love me more,” He finally demanded dramatically and breathlessly, flitting his gaze down to Keith’s shoulders instead of the intensity of his eyes, “maybe that would work.”
“That wouldn’t even be a challenge.” Keith said quietly.

But he can swear, there's just something off with Shiro. There's something Lance swears he can see flash in those eyes, and it's gold tinged.

This is an A/B/O Voltron fan fic that’s a bit like a fairy tale, but more like Game of Thrones in the worst of ways. Basically everyone is Altean or presumed to be. Lance and Allura are royal siblings and mah boi Shiro is just a smidgen darker. He’s a lot like the canon Shiro, just without all those silly morals in the way.

Summary
Gods, if Lance didn’t know any better… he’d say his Prince was whining. He can practically feel the desperation rolling off of him. It makes him shiver, despite the loud voice in his head telling him to contain himself.
“Please tell me,” Keith near begs, and then he sways on his feet as his outburst catches up with him. He stumbles forward, and for one exhilarating moment, Lance thinks he’s going to reach out and touch him.
Instead, Keith’s hand meets the table at his back, close enough to his waist that Lance swears he can feel the heat radiating off of him. Keith’s claws immediately dig into the smooth surface, begging for purchase. Like his grip on the table’s edge is the only thing tethering him to his sanity.

His chin lowers halfway to his chest, but he keeps his gaze stubbornly ahead. “We’re stuck doing this trip, and this is the first time since way before you left for the Blade that we’re actually spending time together. I’ve been sneaking out of camp to fuck around the entire time we’ve been travelling and this is the first time you’ve even noticed.”
“It’s not the first time I’ve noticed,” Keith says—how could he not have? “I just thought you wanted to be alone.”
“Yeah, but, like, with you.” Lance mumbles. “That was our whole thing. Just…” Lance reaches up to rub at the flesh of his neck, “can we be friends again? Like before?”
“Yes,” Keith says, quickly, unthinking. “And for what it’s worth, I never thought I was better than you.”
“You were,” Lance replies, softly. “But we’re better matched now.”

When Lance found himself rattled regarding an Annoyingly Grizzled Older Keith Kogane, he listened to the uneasiness in his chest.
It took him a while to parse out what exactly was setting the alarms off in his head.
Sure, it had been a weird deca-phoeb for them.
But Keith left for the Blades and came back different.
And Lance had a couple Big Problems with that.

When Lance noticed that Keith has begun to act uninterested in his normal antics, he does just about everything he can think of to get a reaction. Chaos and an understandable amount of angst comes from the miscommunication that follows.
