But in a blink, it was over. Rather than jumping up and scuttle away, Idzutsumi stood still, her fur slowly deflating back into a smooth, uniform coat.

Viktor’s head is full of cotton. He’s lighter than air, and it’s like nothing he’s ever felt before. For once, he doesn’t feel the ache in his leg. His face is so close to Jayce’s, and he can’t help but think about how much more handsome he is up close, how he wishes he could kiss him.
Jayce snickers, and it's then that Viktor realizes he said it out loud. He looks at the man with wide eyes, stuttering out what he thinks is an apology as Jayce’s hand slides down his spine, fingers just barely brushing the shirt he’s wearing. His hand hovers near the curve of his ass, not grabbing it the way Viktor wants, and it’s driving him up the wall.
