   Summary

   Reinhard: “I hope Emilia didn’t hold you up again, Subaru…”

   A patient murmur hung heavy in the air with an uncharacteristic tinge of bitterness. It was a bitterness that the sword saint found distasteful, completely unbefitting of a knight, let alone the sword saint.
   It especially felt even more grating as he realized he had looked down upon Miss Emilia, the most important person to Subaru Natsuki and royal candidate.
   Despite his opinion of the silver-haired woman, Reinhard remained friendly.

   However, he couldn’t ever seem to get over the way she looked at Subaru Natsuki, dull amethyst eyes twinkling dully as if they were trying to speak to their saviour and their saviour alone. Like Subaru was the only thing she ever knew.
   It disgusted him somehow, a repulsion Reinhard couldn’t explain if he tried.
