Summary
A series of stories set between the five years after season 6 and the finale, filling in the gaps of the relationship between Pacey and Joey, and the gang. The story starts out as canon compliant as a jumping off point from Joey Potter and the Capeside Redemption, but all bets are off after that. This is a story about Pacey and Joey rebuilding their friendship and discovering whether they are meant to be more.
The title is in reference to the song by the same name by Ingrid Michaelson, which reminds me of them during this time. On the album Slow the Rain if anyone has interest in giving it a listen. :)

Summary
Canon-divergent fic starting from season 1, episode 13 "Decisions".
When Joey decides to try again to visit her father in prison, she enlists Pacey's help to drive her out there in the middle of the night. But after Pacey's attempt to bribe the prison guard doesn't work, they decide to spend the night in a motel together - just like she had the night before, with Dawson. Only *this* night could end up going very differently, because Joey still remembers how Pacey kissed her outside her house after the carnival, and how it made her feel alive...

It's really great that Roy and Trent cleaned up whatever bad blood was between them, because Ted is thrilled to have Trent around the Dogtrack. He's so happy to see how well Trent is getting along with Keeley and Rebecca. And the whole team. And even Roy. And Beard, of course. It's great. There ain't a single reason for Ted to not be over the moon about how well everyone's getting along with Trent.
Because it'd be real odd if Ted wasn't over the goddamn moon about it, right?
