Summary
Some may think it odd that a flower shop could be run by a Jedi - Luke disagrees.
“Luke,” Luke blurts, all semblance of calm he had been working to maintain gone. He fumbles to tuck some of his hair behind his ear as a distraction before he tries again. “My name is Luke.”
Luke doesn’t tell him he’s the only one that runs the shop with his droid. There’s no need to ask for him, ever, but Luke wants him to.
The Mandalorian nods again. “Thank you.” Then, almost a forced afterthought: “Luke.” After, he’s gone, the bell tinkling over the door and sunlight shining off the polished armor as he steps out.
Luke leans over the counter, stretching to catch a glimpse of the man again before the crowds of Galactic City swallow him from sight.

Summary
Mand'alor Din is having trouble with his new role, despite having had it for about a year. He understood his position a lot more during wartime; now in peace, he's struggling to keep himself from going insane with monotony.
When Luke Skywalker turns in a favor and sets up his new Jedi school on Mandalore, life for Din becomes a lot more interesting and complicated. Especially when not all of his subjects agree that Luke should be there in the first place.

Summary
The Jedi lost the Mandalorian war.
Luke, born with strong Force abilities, was smuggled out to Tatooine as protection before the mandatory registration act was enforced and all Force-users became property of the Mandalorian society.
Twenty-years later, Luke, orphaned and alone, is finally discovered by the expanding Mandalorian Empire and, after a discovery of his very special powers, is presented as a gift to the feared Mand’alor.
He did not know what he expected…but becoming the complete focus and fond favorite of the king was a surprise.
