Summary
Tommy stares down into his coffee cup. He doesn’t have a problem with two guys kissing—obviously, he wouldn’t have agreed to this billet arrangement if he did—and he’s not surprised to see Shane and Ilya doing it—like everyone else with even a passing interest in hockey, he saw the FanMail—but, well, he’s maybe a little surprised to see that what they were doing in the FanMail was, apparently, just a casual kiss for them. Judging by this, anyway.
When Shane and Ilya agree to become billet parents, they resolve to keep their (admittedly intense) sex life carefully confined to the bedroom, and out of earshot.
They do an okay job of that. All the other parts of taking in a rookie? They do even better.

Summary
He still didn't know if this was normal - asking your friends about how good they were at sucking dick. Maybe this was how friendship worked for other people, if you weren't both hockey players, if one of you wasn't married, if your friendship didn't depend so much on knowing as little about each other as possible. If you knew the other person liked sucking dick.
Maybe he just likes it when Rose looks at him like that, awestruck, like he's scored a hattrick. He doesn't know anyone else who would be this impressed by his knowledge of having sex with men, which is unfair, seeing how long he's worked to build it.
Maybe that's why he ends up where he does, one arm extended to stick two fingers in Rose's mouth, her pink lipgloss sticky, smearing around his fingers, three of her fingers pressed as far as they can go into his, both of them drooling and stifling little snorts of laughter.
Rose asks a lot of questions.

Summary
"And is like I said, very easy to do. You just lay back and let someone else do work. Could do it in my sleep, would not be problem at all for me to come hands-free.”
Hollander scowled, full competitive personality shining through. “Prove it.”
“Fine, I will,” Ilya snapped back.
Hollander's eyes went wide, and so did Ilya's when he realized what he had promised. His words hung in the air between them, suddenly heavy with implication.
---
Ilya doesn't think switching with Hollander one time for the sake of settling a bet will change anything about their arrangement, and it certainly wouldn't make him discover anything about himself. Afterall, it would only be one time, right?- Language:

Summary
“We need you to argue again,” Dykstra says suddenly.
A few seconds of silence follow, three sets, four if you include Haasy looking up uncertainly every couple of seconds, of eyes trained on them expectantly.
“You want us to argue?” Shane repeats slowly, confusedly.
Bood nods solemnly. “We played the best game of the fucking season after your argument—”
“It wasn’t because of our argument,” Shane tries to counter, but Ilya’s pretty sure he even knows it’s pointless.
“It was because of your argument,” Wyatt says. “You need to argue on game days.”
Dykstra points between Shane and Ilya. “We need you to argue tomorrow. No questions asked. You are the Captain and the Captain’s first man.”
“Sorry?” Shane says at the same time Ilya says, “No.”
Or the Ottawa Centaurs win a game after Shane and Ilya have a petty argument and turn it into a superstition. Texting fic edition.Bookmarked by CB_99
