Summary
John realizes that Sherlock is in a relationship with a man named Will. By all accounts, Will is an amazing partner, a talented painter, photographer, and poet. However, Sherlock is reluctant to introduce John to his new partner. Before long, everyone has met the man…expect for John.
Will is generous, charismatic, and talented. Everyone loves and accepts him. Sherlock loves him. John feels as if he’s disappearing in the shadow of a man that he’d never even seen. John wants to be happy for his best friend, but he finds it difficult. As they work a new case involving John's grandfather, he realizes that Sherlock and Will's relationship have much more of an impact on his life than he really wants to understand.
