Naim and Ryan get out of town, and find hope for what might come next.
Or, I watched Leviticus and needed to make sure they got the happy ending they deserved, since the canon ending was too open for my liking.

“You can’t change the game, McVries. This is what has to happen.”
“I don’t want to change the game,”
The time for lofty aspirations was over; it was every man for himself,
“I just want you to try and help Ray. Take him to a hospital, try and make him better. You can use my winnings for the bill, I don’t need them; I only need him.”
Or Ray survives The Long Walk, and Pete goes through it as they both recover

Summary
With the benefit of hindsight, she cursed herself for how obvious it should have been; the long stretches where they assumed he was busy but never knocked on his closed door to check, the fact he seemed to be around no matter what time of night and the way he never seemed truly comfortable with any of them.
“Yelena, it’s not your fault.” She looked at him skeptically, and Sam doubled down, “Whatever you think you did, it was likely the straw that broke the camel’s back, with all he’s been through.”
“I should have known something was wrong,” Yelena’s voice had dulled, and she let her head tip forward until her forehead rested on her knees, talking to the floor, “He did not spend time with any of us, always alone, and it should have been so obvious he was suffering but we did not see it. So blind, when he was so kind and we did nothing in return, not even check on him. Maybe this would never happened if we had just been a good team.”

Summary
“I saved us.” He whispered breathily, a man possessed, and Swansea couldn’t help the fear that spiked in his chest. Had the latter really lost his mind?
“Curly-“
“I did save us, I did!” He cried, like Swansea had disagreed with him, “I saved us, and it should have fixed things because she doesn’t have to be scared anymore!”
“It’s alright, Curly. He ain’t gonna hurt her now.”
“I fucked up.” Curly continued, deaf to Swansea’s attempted reassurances, and the older man continued towards him, “I couldn’t do anything. I wasn’t good enough to stop any of it. I thought I could-“
Curly’s voice broke.
“I just wanted to get out of here.” Finally, his hands withdrew, and Swansea was left face to face with the younger man’s pitiful expression. Great scratches trailed down his cheeks, red and inflamed, disguised by how reddened it was by tears. He looked at Swansea like he was seeing through him, eyes not quite focusing, “I just wanna go home.”

Summary
“Curly? Can you hear me?”
He blinked and realised he’d been spacing out. She’d tipped her head trying to make eye contact, raising a hand in an attempt at alerting him.
“Ah, sorry. What were you saying?”
“I was going to ask how your friend’s death has made you feel?”
“Uh…”
Under normal circumstances that wouldn’t be a hard question. Sad, angry, depressed, scared, you name it, but those tended to be the cases where the death had been out of your hands, unexpected or inevitable or just plain tragic. But Curly had been judge, jury and executioner, the one to decide Jimmy’s fate, the one to hold the gun and the one to mourn him once the deed had been done. No emotion Curly could feel regarding Jimmy felt correct, every avenue an opportunity for ridicule or judgement.
Or, Curly goes to therapy, the fic

Summary
Sixty-seven days clean, and Rue Bennett’s first real test is a graduation party she only agreed to because Lexi asked and nobody says no to Lexi.
She wasn’t expecting Maddy Perez.
She wasn’t expecting a lot of things — the way a drink spilled between them could turn into thirty minutes against a wall, or the way Maddy looks when she thinks nobody’s watching, or the specific feeling of standing next to someone who’s also in the middle of rebuilding something and not quite ready to name what they’re building.
This is a story about two girls who never really knew each other learning how to know themselves first. About recovery that isn’t linear and healing that doesn’t announce itself. About the slow, inconvenient, slightly terrifying thing that happens when someone sees you — actually sees you — right when you’re figuring out who you are.
It takes a while. It’s worth it.

Summary
Shane's bottom lip trembles ever so slightly, voice brittle. "I can't breathe."
Ilya's heart breaks at his plead. No matter how much it hurt when Shane left or when Ilya saw him with Rose, seeing Shane like this, tears in his eyes, voice cracking, none of it seems to matter.
"Yes, you can." Ilya's words are steady and sure. He slides one of his hands down to Shane's chest, pressing his palm to his sternum. "Focus on me."
Or: Shane has a couple of panic attacks (tuna melt and Montreal club) and Ilya helps him through them.

Summary
She swallows hard, not even realizing where she is until Maddy’s surprised yelp sounds way closer than it should.
“Rue, what the hell are you doing? Why are you outside my window at—” She looks at the clock on her vanity— “2:30 AM?”
Maddy has a polka-dot robe on now, clutching the two sides closed to keep out the chilly night air.
Rue has stepped onto Maddy’s lawn. In front of Maddy’s window. Where Maddy can definitely see her.
Stupid.
“Uh—” she starts, scrambling, “Fuck, I didn't—I mean, it wasn't—”
Rue’s hands move in useless little gestures, like that might somehow explain things. Maddy just watches her, arms crossed, her mouth shaped suspiciously like a smile. She cuts Rue off before she can dig herself any deeper.
“Rue.”
“Yeah?”
“Do you need a place to crash tonight?”
When Rue accidentally ends up at Maddy’s house, comfort shows up wearing someone else’s perfume, and Rue pretends that doesn’t mean anything.

Not with his training. Not with his diet. Not with his life.
Then a ridiculously attractive Russian-Italian chef in Milano force-feeds him the best ravioli he’s ever had and calls him a good boy and things spiral from there.
Between Olympic pressure, impossible expectations, and a connection neither of them is ready to name, Shane finds himself unraveling in ways he doesn’t understand.- Language:
