Summary
In all the talking they’ve done about what this play-act might look like, about how Ed might give Stede exactly the fantasy that he used to entertain as a younger man, neither of them ever considered this: that Stede, tied up and kiss-drunk and pleading, might really do it for Ed.
Or: A ravishment fantasy that goes fantastically well, right up until it doesn't.

Summary
This Ed isn’t Ed. It’s Izzy, or rather an aspect of Izzy, manifesting as Ed and saying all his deepest, darkest, most locked-up thoughts aloud like they’re nothing. Because the gravy basket is the fucking worst.
Or: Izzy died a few months ago, but he still has some unfinished business to deal with. Including becoming kind of a poltergeist, having the kind of violent sex he's always dreamed about, and maybe even figuring out how to bring himself to life again.

Summary
In a quiet patch of countryside, Stede runs a struggling animal rescue for the creatures no one else wants. He can’t fix a fence or fill out paperwork, but his heart’s big enough to try. When the wrong forms threaten to shut the place down, Fang calls in his friend Ed Teach, a lawyer who prefers order to chaos. Ed arrives reluctantly, efficient and closed-off, but something about Stede and one very persistent animal makes it hard to stay away.

Summary
Ed stands in front of the mirror and puts his hands on his belly. There’s nothing there, really. Just the pudge of comfort, of settling down. He purses his lips at the picture he makes. A man longing for something he can’t have.

Summary
“Hey,” Ed says, gently, not to catch him off guard. “What’s up?”
Stede looks back to him, eyes as wide as saucers. “Nothing.” He says.
“Nothing?”
“Mm-hm.” Stede says, nodding, before he goes back to study his items. He looks different. He looks—
Ahh, Ed thinks.
