“I’m not being controlling,” Hoseok argues.
“You kind of are,” Namjoon says quietly. “You’ve been snappish and cold lately Seokie, and forcing Jungkook to stay the night when he should be able to enjoy it with his friends is too much”. Hoseok can’t help the betrayal he feels. The other two youngest are quiet, concern clear on their faces. Jungkook looks annoyed too.
None of them meet his eyes. The living room smells foul with all of the negative emotions tainting it. The main ones, anger and disappointment, coat his tongue.
He studies his pack warily, really looks at them. Exhaustion is etched into every line, the same exhaustion he feels in himself. This is a fight he does not want to win.
Being reunited with his pack after discharging from the military should be filled with joy. Lately it isn’t. Not when Hoseok is tired and lonely even while surrounded by people. Not when his pack’s scent no longer lingers on his skin.

“If Kourai pretended to court you for a little while then it gets the other wolves off our backs and it means I don’t need to worry so much about you.”
Hirugami chokes on air, sputtering. Hoshiumi looks about as thrilled as he feels.
“It would only be until this all tides over.” From the smile on Fukurou’s face he’s enjoying this. “Oh, come on, it’s not that bad, is it? To be honest, Sachirou, I’d really feel better if you had Kourai keeping an eye on you. I don’t think Meian’s pack would be bold enough to come after you then.”

The thing about animal spirit companions is that they generally do whatever they want. And Sachiro, by God, has enough problems already, even without his moth-guide being difficult again. Ideally it would just lead him to his soulmate like it's supposed to do, but right this moment, he'd already be happy if it would just stop sabotaging his serves.
Sachiro struggles with himself and his destiny, blissfully unaware of the answer right in front of him, shining like the sun, even in all-black.

Kiyoomi was certain he knew a lot of things. He could feel that he knew a lot of things. Yet as he stared up into pretty blue eyes under small eyebrows, he had absolutely no idea what was going on. Light brown hair slipped down his face and Kiyoomi quietly debated on brushing it back before realizing he was okay with touching a stranger for some reason.
“Hey there pretty thing,” the voice was nice, smooth and light and somehow achingly familiar, “I’m glad you’re finally awake, I almost missed your complaints about how unsanitary Atsumu-kun is.”
A smile lifted the corners of the unknown man’s lips and Kiyoomi caught himself tracing the smile for a moment. It was a nice smile, even he could admit that, and for a moment Kiyoomi’s hands lifted up with the strangest urge to touch it.
Kiyoomi has to go into surgery, that part he doesn't mind. What he does mind is the absolute confusion that happens every time he's under anesthetics. He is not looking forward to finding a video of him online.- Language:
