    The aftermath of depriving Elpis, the bringer of anarchy, from the ones who'd weaponize the antiviral. While the forces of greed, evil and power scheme in the shadows, our heroes have to figure out how to return to a life that for a child hasn't even begun, for a young woman that never had one of her own, and for a man who had to come to terms with dying in the city that has already tried to end him 28 years ago. Can they heal on their own, or is the possibility of a life together with friends and family not so much better?
    If you ask Leon, that question is not as easily answered as it might seem.

    Ethan Winters has, for the most part, mastered this whole "dad thing". Raising Rose and somehow Eveline, after everything he and Mia went through in the Village, made him get good, and fast. So when Chris mentions that he has a buddy who's also (kinda), a dad, Ethan can't help but be intruged. Rose had been pestering him to get more friends than just the Boulder Puncher™ anyway, so what better than to befriend a fellow dad?

    Alternative Summary: Ethan has no idea that Leon isn't actually a dad, and he just collects traumatized grown(ish) women like Pokémon and mothers them.

    “Hey, I’m going to bed. Don’t stay up too late, okay?” He rested a hand on her shoulder to make sure she heard, and felt distantly proud that she didn’t even flinch at his approach like she’d used to.

    “Okay. Night, mom.” She mumbled, not even glancing up at him as her fingers flew across the keyboard.

    Leon paused. It (somehow) wasn’t the first time she’d called him that, the first time being whilst in the midst of a panic attack so severe that she’d fainted, but he hadn’t brought it up since and she didn’t seem to remember.

    “… Night, kid.” He squeezed her shoulder before heading off, hearing the frantic typing pause for a second before he just about heard the whispered,

    “Oh my god.” that followed.
