    Everyone knew him as 'Endeavor's son' and he tried not to let it bother him. Endeavor was a different man than Todoroki Enji and Shouto would suffer in silence if it meant the world had who they needed.

    Until the world finds out who their hero really is behind closed doors, and suddenly Shouto finds himself navigating a new life with things he never knew before- family, love, and friendship.

    As the world makes its own choices about him, he at least has his friends and teachers to help him through.

    Shoto looked down at the hero before plunging the shard into his neck. He ignored the blood that splattered his face and leaked onto his hands. Shoto dug it in further and dragged it in a messy line, tearing the hero’s throat open.

    Once the twitching and gasping stopped, he sighed quietly, creating water with his Quirk and rinsing his hands as best he could. There was nothing filthier in the world than killing.

    Death was a mercy he was affording them. They should be grateful he did it silently.

    Todoroki Shouto was immensely grateful for his lack of facial expressions.

    He’d always been a person of few emotional tells, mostly because of his upbringing. He learned to lie, learned to suppress his pain, and learned how to internalize his problems. He was not allowed to be weak, so he hid his thoughts behind a stoic face and short responses.

    Which is why when he began to lose his grasp on his emotions, none of it showed on his face.

    (or: Shouto got too comfortable living at the dorms and away from his father's intense training. The dorms close for the weekend after he fails the provisional hero licensing exam, and the shock of the punishment training sends him spiraling. Back in compliance, his thoughts get darker and darker until the ice half of his Quirk starts freezing out of control.)

    Five years ago, fourteen-year-old Touya Todoroki's name was buried here. Today, Dabi has come home to make them all remember. He's gonna make them feel just what it's like to wish for death so the pain can stop. He's gonna destroy the little prodigy that took his place. He's gonna make his father say his goddamn name until he chokes on it.

    Or; Dabi breaks into the Todoroki house one night to kill his little brother. Things don't go as planned.
    Dabi and Shouto go on the run together, with Dabi raising his little brother to become the weapon that will destroy Endeavor.
