Summary
After their world was shattered by Cassandra's betrayal Eugene, Rapunzel, and Lance return to Corona only to find the kingdom devoid of its usual life. Finding out the Saporians took over the throne certainly wasn't the welcome home they were expecting. It was up to them to once again save the day— or, rather, the kingdom in this case— and put the criminals back in the deepest pits of the dungeon where they belong. The fact that Eugene could barely even recall who the Saporians even were made him confident it would be easy to put a stop to their takeover. It's just one more mess to clean up before they could finally try to settle down to process all the chaos they suffered through in the Dark Kingdom. Of course, things could never be that easy. He really should have known better. Finding out Varian was working with the Separatists made things infuriatingly complicated but it was finding out how they treated the alchemist that sent everything Eugene thought he knew up in flames. No amount of resentment he harbored for Varian could make Eugene stand by and let Varian suffer like this at Andrew's hands. Actually, he was beginning to question if he still had any anger left.

Summary
Nuru is glad she made the choice to join up with Varian and his companions. She's never been able to experience the world so casually like this and nothing has ever made her heart feel so light before. Of course, there are some bumps along the way— the most infuriating one being named Hugo— but even if she had the opportunity to go back she wouldn't take it. There's freedom in this journey she's never had. There's no obligation to maintain royal posture or speak only with a regal tongue. She can be unabashedly herself with others her own age and she never realized how much she wanted that until she had it.
It hadn't occurred to her that just because she wasn't on this journey as a princess that didn't mean others suddenly wouldn't recognize her.
Varian, for his part, is just really tired of ending up in situations like this.

Summary
Things haven't been... good. Since the whole ordeal with the T.V. dude and all of Lucifer's many mistakes. He's trying his best to just coast through the background while Charlie gets into the rhythm of the new energy of the hotel but with the holidays coming up he's worried he's just gonna bring Charlie down even more. Being on his own, however, leaves his mind wandering and vulnerable to all the other shadows that make up his existence down in the pits of Hell.
Nothing a little Sinsmas decorating can't fix, right? It's not like he has any other ideas and the walls of the Morningstar palace are starting to feel suffocating again.

Summary
It was easy to forget how little they knew about their leader. Scott's always there. Whether he was putting a stop to their shenanigans or keeping them safe he's constantly around. Somewhere along the line, they learned a few things about him. He was stiff, he was quick and intelligent, he worked hard. They hadn't realized how impersonal the things they knew about Scott were until they started learning more of the important things. The real, deep, character-defining things that told him why he was the young man they've come to know.
Even if not everything they stumble across is kind they're honored to know more about their friend.

Summary
The weather has really put a dent in selling this week and after another day of meager profits Jack and Crutchie decide to call it quits and head back to the lodging house early to get out of the rain. Shame they never make it that far. It turns out that ever since the strike the Delanceys have had a bone to pick with Jack and they're more than happy to take the opportunity to air out their grievances. Crutchie, despite his best efforts, is helpless to do anything but watch.
