He pulled a screwdriver out from a place Peter didn't notice it was in before, jabbed it into the x of a tiny screw, and twisted it. The whole contraption unraveled, Harley's face completely neutral as Peter watched it happen.

Summary
Peter never got as much affection as his brother Harley, they had the same dad, same history of being brought in after their mothers died, but Harley was always loved more. The Avengers practically took over his home but don’t know his name and Steve Rodgers reminds him horribly of someone from his past. The last time he trusted his dad.
But that’s ok, he’s gotten used to it, and he has other things to hang onto, his friends, his aunt, and his secret life running around in spandex.

Peter had two options: option one, tell Tony that he stole the magazine off his mothers boyfriend-of-the-week in an attempt to teach himself how to read because his dead-beat mother never bothered. Or option two.

Steve smirked to himself. This kid would feel like a fly against him, he was sure of it.
Peter’s grin widened. “Oh, really? First time someone said they could handle my strength.”
Steve shrugged. “Attempt the punch whenever you’re ready.”
Peter launched forward. The moment his fist connected, Steve was blasted backward, through reinforced walls that would normally withstand a minor explosion, and landed hard on the floor some distance away.
