Neither does Naruto, if he’s being honest. He still snarks out, “You’re not helping your case by telling me that.”
The previous amusement comes back at full force when Sasuke’s lips quirk up charmingly. “And what is my case?”
“Convincing me that you’re not after my ass, of course,” Naruto tells him, like it’s obvious. He adds a huff for good measure. “Have you been listening to me for the past two minutes?”
“I have,” Sasuke agrees easily, gaze steady, and Naruto doesn’t know why his heart skipped a beat at that. He wants it to stop that shit. “That’s all I did. Listen to you. Look at you.”
Uzumaki Naruto has been single for a year now, and ready to kiss his best friend on New Year's Eve just so that she wouldn't feel alone. Too bad that A Class actor Uchiha Sasuke has something to say about that.

Summary
Sakura looks at cornflower blue eyes and white gold hair and soft lips and everything else flees her mind. It isn't all that outrageous of an idea that she is completely, totally, and irrevocably in love with Ino. She just needed a nudge to realize friendship isn't on her mind when she looks at her best friend.
Now she just has to let Ino know how over the moon she is for her.
Luckily she has a few friends to help her put her plan of snagging Ino into effect.
