Miles Edgeworth emotionally entraps Franziska into officiating his upcoming wedding, an invitation that somehow makes Franziska honor-bound to a family vacation in Kurain. It’s an in-law test run, like letting cats sniff each other under a door to get used to each other.
Franziska refuses to be bested by trivial matters such as "blizzard conditions," let alone "Pearl Fey's teenage angst," "rescuing a stray cat," and "Maya going missing."
(The Feys offer to host a pre-wedding wedding party vacation in Kurain. Spirit channeling puts a bump in the road. Nobody's quite calm about it.)

Summary
There is a pleasant little planet the Doctor visits sometimes-- shared peacefully by humans, animals, and a hybrid energy lifeform. The downside is the TARDIS finds it hilarious to disguise her time lord as one of the native energy creatures. On the plus side... seeing the Doctor in the shape of a little pink fluffmonster might be just what Evelyn needs after a few rough adventures.

In truth the future is just a place like any other: flawed, but liveable. There are some things which aspire almost to utopia; there are others which still horrify you, decades after meeting them. How could a world that stopped smallpox in its tracks dream up nuclear weapons? Why were there two world wars when the right number was none?
