Aside from his boxers, Reo is completely naked in front of Nagi.
Nagi's breath hitches, but Reo thankfully doesn't seem to hear it over the pounding rain hitting the roof of the complex like miniature bullets.
Was that hail? Damn, Reo might be stuck here for a while…
Reo stands with a hand on his hip, wet clothes tucked against his side, one of his cute little brows raised.
"Are you planning on just standing there forever, Nagi?" Reo asks, tilting his head to the side curiously.
Or, after getting caught in a rainstorm while biking home Nagi tries not to lose his fucking mind at seeing Reo soaking wet.

He needed a break, and alcohol was a great distraction, kept his mind buzzing and unable to wander back to bored grey eyes and words that he never wanted to hear again.
It was perfect, then, when Ego gave them a two week break. They were teenage athletes— what were they supposed to do, not get raving drunk? In fact, Ego should’ve been glad they decided on partying and not something more extreme, like bungee jumping in New Zealand or whatever other ideas Shidou had suggested (Reo stopped listening after the first one, having caught the gist of things).

“Hey, Reo.”
“Hm?”
“Would you date me?”
“Mm,” Reo says absentmindedly, scribbling out a misspelled word in his notes. It takes a few moments before the question actually registers, and his head whips up. “Sorry, what?”
“Would you,” his friend repeats, “hypothetically, date me?”
Reo blinks. Reo blinks again. The question continues to make zero sense. He puts his pen down.
“Um,” he says.
“Sorry, sorry,” Kunigami says with a sigh. “I’m going about this all wrong. What I’m actually trying to ask is—would you be willing to pretend to date me for a few weeks?”
“Oh,” Reo says, as if that makes any more sense than the original question. "Uh... why?"

Summary
There’s no way Reo’s as bad as Chigiri makes him sound. So it’s taken him a while to confess to Nagi. It’s not like he was going to put it off forever. He just wanted to do it right.
He just wanted to do it right.
That, however, doesn’t actually explain the indecision that currently paralyzes him as he stands in front of Nagi’s locker. All he has to do is put it in. It’s easy, it’s simple, it’s something he can’t overthink.
Reo continues standing and staring at Nagi’s locker. Maybe, just maybe, this was a bad idea, though. Who cares what Chigiri thought anyway? Plus, these flowers weren’t even super fancy. Nagi deserved Reo’s best, and this certainly wasn’t it.
Yeah, Reo finally decides. This isn’t the way to do it.
Or, at least, that’s what Reo decides until he hears footsteps from around the corner and he yanks Nagi’s locker open, dumps the flowers inside, and slams it shut again.
Well, Reo thinks miserably. So much for that.
