Summary
Their lips meet, and it’s vicious. They’re not gentle or slow about it, they gnash at each other with bared teeth. Zack bites down on Cloud’s bottom lip hard enough to draw blood, swiping his tongue over the wound to soothe it. Cloud claws at his arms, pushing back against him, fighting to control the kiss. Zack doesn’t allow it. He takes Cloud by the wrists and pins his hands down by his hips.
They pull apart for a moment, just so he can whisper, “I don’t like you.”
“I don’t care.” Cloud spits back, chasing after Zack’s lips like a starved man.

His head pounds and so does his heart, beating against his ribcage rapidly as he scrambles uselessly. His hand slips, smearing sticky red across the white linoleum floor.
“Zack!” Another familiar voice. Bright red hair barrels towards him from down the hospital hallway (hospital. He’s in a fucking hospital), a young woman following behind, shouting orders to the nurses to stay back. Reno’s eyes widen and he skids to a halt, throwing an arm out to stop the woman from charging onwards. “Shit, he’s got Rude’s gun.”
Zack heaves, fingers shaking and numb against the trigger.
He doesn’t want to go back.
He won’t go back.

She didn’t know that he’s already been seeing this guy for over a few months already, has no idea what her son gets up to in the late evenings when he says he’s going out with Tifa. She was simply happy that he was socialising more and not isolating himself.

Summary

Summary
"What… happened to the team? Where's everybody?" he croaked, fighting to keep his eyes open and locked on Enjin's face.
The man closed his eyes. Zanka had never seen him look like he didn't have control of a situation before, always so confident, but right now, his face creased with a somber expression. It wasn't right. An expression like that, twisted by grief and worry, didn't belong on a face like Enjin's.
"They didn't make it. It's just us, kid."
Things go sideways on a long-range mission deep into the polluted zone. As the only survivors, Enjin and Zanka have to find a way to get home, before their limited resources run out.
